Besides a pimple and a fire-spitting russian, what would any chubby kid yearn to create in his little room? A zombie, of course. This time, being close to Halloween, we equipped ourselves a bit better than usual, building a couple of amateurish special fx, too, courtesy of Indymogul and with some little idea of our own. To tell the truth everything came out of a bit of dry ice we had stumbled upon: after spending a night playing with it, we were all positive that its most logic use would be to simulate a zombie-infested graveyard’s mist. A parte un brufolo e un russo sputafuoco, qual è la cosa che qualunque pacioccoso fanciullo desidererebbe realizzare in casa propria senza fatica? Ma uno zombie, naturalmente. Stavolta, in occasione di Halloween, ci siamo attrezzati un po’ (poco) meglio del solito, realizzando anche alcuni effetti speciali amatoriali, grazie ai preziosi consigli di Indymogul e a qualche piccola idea nostra. A dire il vero è tutto nato da un po’ di ghiaccio secco che ci era capitato tra le mani: dopo aver passato una serata a giocherellarci, a tutti noi è sembrato perfettamente logico che il suo utilizzo più idoneo fosse simulare la nebbia di un cimitero infestato dagli zombie. This second episode was inspired, as the first one, bya silly trick devised by the ill mind of our friend Andrea in his teens: picture a crowded chinese restaurant and him sipping a cheap liquor (contents unknown) to spray it on a lighter’s flame right away, shouting “DIMITRI!”, to the amusement of his companions (and sometimes the irritation of the other customers). Questo secondo episodio nasce come il precedente da un altro gioco da ristorante creato in adolescenza dalla mente malata de nostro amico Andrea: immaginatevi un ristorante cinese pieno di gente e lui che sorbiva sorsate di infimo distillato di non si sa cosa, spruzzandolo sulla fiamma dell’accendino urlando “DIMITRI!”, per l’ilarità dei compagni di tavolo e talvolta il fastidio degli avventori circostanti.
